Waste removal from your body is continuous. During your yoga asana practice you compress / extend and change the centre of gravity in every organ.

Drainage precedes supply.

When your exhaust gets clogged, your vehicle / plumbing shuts down.

Your facia is a pressurized hydraulic system that organizes with your Bikram practice. Hydration and nutrition helps facilitate deep relaxation with your yoga regiment.

Help your body feel alive, feed yourself living nutrients. Rule of thumb is:

Here are two things to add to your diet regularly especially when feeling sluggish / dehydrated and headachy:

Fresh Juice

Increase fresh veg & fruit. Making it yourself saves $ and helps with food prep! Prepare in advance, before you get thirsty … so you grab the good stuff!

 

Prepare your food in advance. IE. Make a big soup and freeze servings for an easy defrost. Spend 30min juicing on a Sunday afternoon so you have fresh juice through out the work week everyday. Hydration and nutrition is a constant daily activity. Not a now and again peripheral hoopla. Preparation in advance is the only way to ensure you don’t grab the processed foods when peckish.

Legume & Veggie Soup

Good protein and carbs. Add in the good stuff to what you currently eat. Do your yoga and your diet and cravings will adjust. Our practice has no steadfast rules on diet. Show up as you are and you will feel your way forward into health.
